Finally, Instant Messaging and wireless are fused and the reader is taken through the steps of how they work in unison both in the technical and business arena.

About the Author

Stephen Dye is an accomplished, wireless communications professional with twenty-three years of technology and industry experience. He has written three books on the Global Positioning Service (GPS), Terrestrial Mobile Positioning Technologies and numerous magazine and newspaper articles on wireless technology and the industry. Originally from England, Stephen has a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bromley College of Technology. He first entered the world of Personal Communication Services (PCS) in 1992 while living in Germany and started work on the world’s first Global System Mobile Communications (GSM) network in Düsseldorf Germany. Now resident in the USA, Stephen has consulted for a variety of Tier one PCS carriers and vendors. Stephen also created the world’s first Short Message Service (SMS) only Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO)- Esemde, Inc. serving the Verticals and Enterprise Markets, with specialist data services. Stephen is currently President of Wireless Fire, Inc, a Miami-based wireless company providing cross-platform and inter-carrier messaging, SMS micro payment, Chat and instant messaging services.
